The Early Days in My Foster Home - part I

What is a foster home? My new mommy keeps telling me and other people this is my "foster" home. She calls me "Marshall" and says I am a "foster kitten". I hear other cats here, too. I also hear "bark! bark!" and "sniff! sniff!" noises outside my very own room. I'm too hungry and sleepy to care very much. Mostly, I sleep, eat, and purr. Sometimes I hiss when big people walk into my room. Then I remember these are the nice people who help me, and I will talk to them, and purr.

My new room is very cozy. My new mommy keeps a noise box on all the time in my room. She said it is a radio. I always hear, "This is WOSU 89.7". They talk a lot, but have nice voices. The music is nice, too. It helps me sleep. Every day, people turn water on and stand under it. It makes the room very warm, and I hop up on my post to watch them. They don't seem scared by water. After they are done, they talk to me, and I drink water off of their fingers.

I have 3 new mommies. One is "Mom", then there is "Kyra" and "Ella". I heard there is a daddy, but I haven't met him yet. Mommy said he is in Japan. "Mom" and "Ella" took me to a place with lots of cats, called "Cozy Cat Cottage". A nice lady there gave me a yummy drink, and then pinched me in the back. She said I was "bony". Everyone says this. What is "bony"? My mommy said I just got my "first shot and wormer". I didn't like it very much, and I am happy they took me back to my room with the noise box.
